Who Are We?


Women Who Do Data (W2D2) is a member-led, cooperative organization championing the advancement of women and underrepresented data, ML & AI professionals in order to achieve equitable progress for these people and their economic empowerment while directly combating AI basis due to lack of engineering diversity and perspective in the industry. With a board of directors pooling and bootstrapping their resources with a shared goal of building a community for members to own and thrive in. We are currently working to incorporate as a 501c3 to take advantage of all the benefits available for our community. W2D2’s focus is niche and quality. We are currently in our pre-donor phase.

Our mission is to champion a fair and unbiased future of technology by empowering women and underrepresented groups in the data and AI/ML fields. We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and supportive community where these voices can grow to lead the development of ethical AI solutions and drive equitable industry practices. Through member-led governance and measurable impact, we ensure our community actively shapes our direction and success.
